Our Story: From Personal Loss to Lasting Legacy
Kirk and Susan Coppinger founded The Broken Kids Company after losing two children—Michael to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Emily to a brain malformation. They know firsthand the isolation, financial strain, and emotional weight that families with special needs children carry. Rather than let grief define them, they built a structure that transforms construction profits into hope. OPD Construction funds the Holland House Project, which provides up to $2,000 per family for counseling services, mentorship, and community support. This isn't charity—it's family supporting family, built on a foundation of professional excellence and personal understanding.
